Create your own adorable **Evan the Christmas Elf** with this festive knitting pattern. This charming Christmas character measures approximately 46cm tall, excluding his hat, making him a lovely size for Christmas displays, festive decorations or as a handmade seasonal gift.

Evan is dressed in traditional Christmas colours with a red knitted top, green dungarees, red and white striped legs and oversized elf-style boots. His outfit is finished with decorative buttons, boot cuffs and little white pom poms, while his pointed green and white elf hat has its own soft knitted pom pom.

The elf has lots of lovely character details, including shaped pointed ears, a knitted nose and optional embroidered mouth. The pattern uses 7mm safety eyes, with the option of using black yarn to embroider the eyes instead.

The body and head are worked in one piece, with the arms, legs, boots, dungarees, hat and other details knitted separately before being assembled. The legs are lightly stuffed so that Evan can be posed easily when displayed.
