Endopleura uchi, Humiriaceae family, is an endemic tree of the Amazon forest (Bolivia, Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela).
Grows up to 30 meters high as an evergreen tree. The trunk diameter reaches about 60-90 centimeters. The brownish-gray bark is smooth and slightly cracked.
The tea from it's bark is used as traditional herbal tea by the native people.
It is commonly known as uxi, uxi-amarelo (Yellow Uxi), uxi-liso or uxipuçu.

INGREDIENTS:
Endopleura uchi Bark.
PREPARATION AND USAGE:
Use one teaspoon per cup (250 ml).
Boil in fresh water for 5 minutes. Let it rest for 10 minutes while it cools down.
2 cups per day.
