Custom and personalised orders

Absolutely. From simply making a print greyscale to completely designing your own print for you. We can do it all - with or without splatter. Likewise with cards, if you want a personalised one or simply a name added to one of my existing cards then that’s no problem either. Any questions just pop me a message - you’ll get a response pretty quick as I’m never off duty. The only thing I ask is that you pay upfront as unfortunately I’ve previously spent time doing things for customers who then don’t pay/order what they’ve requested.

I offer prints in three sizes (unless otherwise stated on the listing): A5 (148 x 210mm) A4 (210 x 297mm) A3 (297 x 420mm) All cards are A5 in size. I don’t offer framed prints but these are very standard sizes and you can very easily source a frame from elsewhere. This also gives you a far broader choice to suit your own personal preferences and decor.

Gift wrapping and packaging

I don’t offer gift wrapping but all prints are cased within a cellophane sleeve, supported by a hardboard backing to keep them flat. They are wrapped lovingly in tissue paper and placed within a hardback envelope (or cardboard mailers for A3 prints). All cards (if sent to you blank) will be protected within a cellophane sleeve and come with a blank envelope. They are sent to you in an A4 hardback envelope. If sent directly to the recipient they are sent to the recipient within a white envelope as you would expect a normal card to be sent.

What is the Returns / Refund / Cancellation Policy

Once your order is printed and sent you will need to follow the returns process if you wish to cancel. If you wish to return an item and cancel your order then you must contact me within 14 days of receiving it and return the item/s (at your cost) within 14 days of the date you told me. Provided they are returned and received within their original packaging and with no damage I will refund the cost of the order (not return postage) within 14 days of me receiving it back. I would suggest you return items via tracked mail as if an order is lost on its return I will be unable to refund. If you wish to cancel a personalised order then the % of the refund given to you will depend upon how much time has been spent on it up to that point.

How quickly do you post?

All non-personalised items will normally be posted within 24 - 48 hours with the exception of weekends and bank holidays. For personalised items I will give you a timescale when you make your enquiry as it depends upon what you want me to do.

I’ve not received my order yet?

All my items are posted with the Royal Mail. Unfortunately following the COVID situation I am aware that in some areas Royal Mail continue to experience delays of up to a week (sometimes more) to deliver. Please take this into account when ordering as delivery times are unfortunately out of my hands. I don’t tend to resend any orders until at least one week after posting having considered what you’ve ordered, how it was sent and if there have been any holidays / weekends to account for.

Do you offer framed pictures?

No as there are so many costs and variations of frames out there that I believe it’s best to let people choose how they wish to display their prints depending on their decor. This also keeps the cost down for everyone. All my prints therefore come unframed however, they are standard sizes so it is extremely easy to purchase a frame from elsewhere and pop my print in this when it arrives. Non of my customers to date have had a problem framing their prints. Checkout my reviews for examples. The sizes of my frames are: A5 : 14.8cm x 21cm (not the same as 8x6 inches) A4: 21cm x 29.7cm A3: 29.7cm x 42cm

Please note the pictures of the card as the text is a textured and weathered looking font type - it is not fading or printed incorrectly.

All cards are printed on A5 heavyweight white card made from 100% recycled materials. All cards come with a white C5 envelope, also made from recycled material.

If you select ‘send card direct to me’ at checkout, the card will be sent to you blank on the inside and with a spare envelope. The Pics and Squiggles logo is shown on the back of every card.

If you would like the card sent directly to the recipient with a message printed inside then that’s no problem. Please select ‘send card direct to recipient’ at checkout and email picsandsquiggles [!at] gmail.com with the message you’d like added. Messages will be presented nicely and written in a script style font. They will be written using the exact wording and spelling you provide. There is an extra 50p charge for this service.

Please be aware that actual colours may vary slightly or appear slightly lighter. This is due to the fact that it is printed on thick white Matt card - it is not photo paper. In addition, every computer monitor has a different capability to display colours and everyone sees these colours differently.

All cards will be sent via Royal Mail second class post. Uk delivery only. I am not accountable for the Royal Mail delivery times, especially in the current climate. Please leave enough time between ordering and when you require the card. Please be aware that in some areas Royal Mail are taking up to a week to deliver items.

In the unlikely event that your item/s does not arrive I will aim to issue a refund or replacement as soon as possible. In the event I am refunding an item, I will do so 10 working days after the date you would have originally been due to receive it.
