Multi-stage fruit flashcards that will grow with your child. These Montessori-style educational flashcards can be used starting from toddlerhood. The cards are designed to be used in 3 stages: 1) object recognition, 2) color matching and 3) word matching. Real images because teaching with real images make it easier for children to make the connection to the real word.

You will receive the following files:

• 38 Fruit card images in 2 formats:
o PDF – 10 pages of images; to be used for hand cutting
o PNG – 10 PNGs with a transparent background sized 6.5” x 9.25” so you can Print and Cut the images using Cricut Explore / Maker
* Note: Fruit card images are provided in 2-part PDFs/files due to the large size

• Word cards:
o PDF – 6 pages of word cards, including colored word cards (stage 2) and black and white word cards (stage 3)
o JPEG – 4 JPEGs of blank word cards

These cards require more effort to prepare than traditional flashcards as image cards are designed to be in the shape of each unique fruit (a lot of cutting is involved!). However, they are so worth it because your child will LOVE them!

Printing and Assembly Suggestions:
The printable is designed for standard letter sized (8.5” x 11”) paper. However, the printables can be easily scaled to A4 by selecting the fit button on your printer menu. Best printed on cardstock and laminated. Full assembly instructions are provided with purchase. Please note that cut out images feature a thick colored border that complements the image for ease of cutting. Dotted lines are not provided as part of the design.
