DESCRIPTION
The Sofie Clareese Shawl Collar Dress was created by manipulating and incorporating an exclusive collar/sleeve combination to get the collar to round out at the shoulders and become more like a sleeve cap than a collar. Included in the pattern are lots of close up photos to help define the construction of this exclusive feature.

The skirt is a circle with soft pleats. The bodice can be Fully Lined or Facings. The usual popular applications for back closure are offered such as H&L tape, snaps, buttons. Hem features a technique for an easy rolled hem (Sofie's Aids & Ideas Supplement included with pattern). Alternative, a serge and turned hem can be used.

Suggested embellishments for the bodice with gems or bow belt offers a sophisticated look perfect for the Easter Parade, Valentines Day, Christmas, or whatever occasion your imagination takes you too.
