It's pretty and well made. However, the depth effect is not perceived in real life the same as in photos and video. It is actually a flat painted image, and not a work of overlapping layers. We are told that this is how it is used to be able to put a glass or cup on it, but in the layer technique this is also achieved. All you need to do is seal them with a flat, transparent surface that matches them. I hope that this technique will be explored in future works.

Es bonito y está bien hecho. No obstante, el efecto de profundidad no se percibe en vivo igual que en las fotos y vídeo. En realidad es una imagen plana pintada, y no un trabajo de capas superpuestas. Se nos dice que así sirve para poder poner un vaso o taza sobre él, pero en la técnica de capas esto se consigue también. Sólo basta sellarlas con una superficie plana y transparente que las iguale. Espero que en futuros trabajos se explore esta técnica.

VERY expensive for only one coaster. For the price plus shipping, I thought I was getting four and not just one. I do not recommend buying this. It was a rip off and I'm very disappointed.
