When I chose metals, I wanted to create a product that was high quality, yet still affordable for the average woman. Some metals vary by item and each item's specific metals can be found in the listing description. Some metals stay the same across most items. Many are made with 18k or 24k gold plated 304 stainless steel. Stainless steel is strong, durable, and tarnish resistant. All of my earrings with a post are made from 316L surgical steel posts for sensitive ears. All gold chain is 18k gold plated cable chain and all clasps are 24k gold plated lobster style clasps. Even with extra plating and material precautions, all plated jewelry will eventually start to fade over time. How fast the plating fades depends on several different factors such as your skin’s acidity, how often you wear the piece, and the activities you do while wearing the piece. To ensure your piece stays sparkly for a long time, make sure to remove all jewelry before showering, swimming or any other contact with water which will tarnish the jewelry. Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreens or any other chemicals. After wearing the piece, it is best to clean it with a dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place such as your drawstring bag that included with purchase.

I pick most of my flowers right here in southern California. There are select flowers I purchase from other Etsy sellers that have been pressed dry, and sometimes even painted to brighten or change the color. Every flower I use in a piece has been grown naturally.
