DROPS Wish is a natural yarn made from a blend of alpaca wool, sheep wool, and Pima cotton. It is a blown yarn, meaning garments knitted with it are lightweight yet warm, thanks to the alpaca and wool content, and also durable. Please note that blown yarns have very little elasticity.
As one customer described, it is essentially a knitted tube that does not stretch (but she loved it anyway!). Average yarn consumption for a sweater is around 10 skeins, depending on the size and pattern used.
COMPOSITION: 50% alpaca, 17% wool, 33% polyamide
WEIGHT: 3.5 oz. (50 g) = approx. 77 yards (70m)
Recommended NEEDLE SIZE: US 13/US10/8mm-10mm
GAUGE: 10 sts. x 14 rows (10x10cm) CARE: Hand wash in lukewarm water. Lay out flat to dry.
