These work well for our guest room sleeper sofa. We didn't want to take up the space of having night stands on both sides of the sofa. The shape and sturdiness is lovely. We adhered a felt liner to the bottoms to prevent the sofa arms from getting scratched. I am sad about the obvious patch in one of them - I guess where a knot was.
