Ponchos are machine washable in cold water on gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry. No bleach and no iron.

All product measurements are included in each listing description. When ordering a poncho, the most important measurement is the length. My general advice is this, "When in doubt, size up!" Custom ponchos cannot be exchanged for a different size! Please message me before ordering (or within 24 hours of placing your order) if you want to discuss poncho sizing. I'm happy to discuss sizing options with you and will help you decide which size will be best for you. Should I buy an extra warm poncho?

Our extra warm ponchos have a layer of quilt batting sewn between the two layers of fleece. This extra layer provides a lot of extra warmth without adding a lot of extra bulk. Extra warm ponchos are quite popular among customers in the northern and western United States and Canada. Here are some things to consider when choosing regular or extra warm: ~Will your car be warm when you put your child in his/her car seat? ~Do you plan to wear the poncho on your child only in the car or for other outdoor activities? ~Does your child tend to get too warm quickly or does your child mind the cold? If you have questions other about the extra warm ponchos, I'm happy to help.

What is a custom or personalized order?

A custom order is any item that you customize by choosing the size, fabric, and style. Keep in mind that custom orders are not returnable. Exchanges are allowed only under certain circumstances. For hygiene reasons, we do NOT accept returns on hat orders. If you have questions about your order and whether or not it is eligible for return or exchange, please contact us.

Do you sell products made from licensed fabrics (like Disney, John Deere, etc.)

Unfortunately, because of copyright issues, we don't sell items made with licensed fabrics. This is always confusing for shoppers because many shop owners do sell licensed fabric items. In some instances, Etsy shops have been closed down for copyright infringement, and we've decided not to risk it. We are happy to work with you on an order using any of the fabrics that we have in stock.

Will you add a few inches of length to my car seat poncho?

Because my car seat poncho is circular, I am not able to customize the lengths of the ponchos. If you would like a longer poncho, the best thing to do is to buy a larger size. If you are planning to order a size 6 poncho and would like a longer length, I recommend ordering a junior size poncho (older kid's poncho). These ponchos for older/taller children are shaped differently, but will still work in a car seat. Because of the difference in design, the junior size poncho and wheelchair poncho lengths can be customized.

Can I get an extra warm wheelchair poncho?

Extra warm wheelchair ponchos made with a layer of quilt batting sewn between the layers of fleece are no longer available. If you'd like an extra warm wheelchair poncho, I can't say enough about our luxury fleece ponchos. The luxury fleece fabric is heavier and denser than our regular anti pill fleece. This is the second cape I’ve ordered and the color is perfect. I even put Elaine’s card in my Moms group on FB to show them how cute they are so they may want them for their kiddos too.
