Can I sell finished projects based on your patterns?

Laws vary by country, but I do prefer that you do NOT sell any projects based on my patterns. You can gift projects to friends and family!

What about auctioning my finished BAD Stitch projects for charity?

Absolutely, but please ask me first and tag me as the pattern designer! I would love to promote your charity efforts if you are including one of my designs.

Is the PDF compatible with Pattern Keeper, Mark-up XP, etc.?

I do provide charts with no color + symbols, but I can not guarantee any third party app will be compatible.

I'm looking for patterns that are in one of your cross stitch zines. Can I buy it individually?

Some of the patterns from my zines are available individually, and you'll find them as active listings. Some patterns, like The Fates, Athena, Charon, etc., will not be available individually, but may be available at a local needlework shop in the future. You can also stay tuned to my newsletter / social media for sales, or join my Patreon to receive a steep discount on shop patterns.

I was inspired by Northern Ghost bats and designed this cute white bat under a giant leaf. This cross stitch pattern is called Finding Shade.

15 DMC colors
2,453 full cross stitches

Finished sizes, not including excess for framing:
14ct ~ 5 ½ x 5 ½ inch (13.8 x 14.2 cm)
16ct ~ 4 ¾ x 4 ¾ inch (12.1 x 12.4 cm)
18ct ~ 4 ¼ x 4 ¼ inch (10.7 x 11 cm)

Included with this PDF are two versions:
Full color blocks with distinct symbols
No color with distinct symbols. I can’t guarantee compatibility with 3rd party software such as Pattern Keeper.

This pattern has been scrutinized for readability and ease of stitching. Photos show this design test stitched on 16 count Cosmic Cliff by PhDyed.

Images of the final product are simulated as closely as possible to the real thing, but keep in mind colors may not reproduce accurately on every monitor and screen.
