Marine Mayhem is a full 12 week high school art project, packed with 12 full art lessons, including plans and all visual aids! This is lesson 2 - an individual lesson. You can buy all 12 on a different listing on Etsy.

The theme of the project is Marine Mayhem and, you've guessed it, it is all about the ocean and the creatures that populate it. This course is designed for busy Teachers of Art who do not have the time to write their lesson plans or conjure up ideas for art lessons or full projects. It is also useful for homeschoolers.

Each of the 12 lessons contains a full lesson plan and a Powerpoint (turned into PDF's) with objectives and success criteria, step by step guidance plus links to artists and art techniques to help inspire your students and make it easy for you teach your lesson. There is also an evaluation sheet at the end, and a certificate of completion!

Aimed at children age 9 - 12 or adults who want to explore all the exciting techniques and variety of media that their loved ones are experiencing in school. Each of the twelve lessons is planned to last approximately 45-60 minute, with individual tasks. There are over 12 hours of school lessons that you can work through at your leisure. This is ONE of the lessons.

Designed for KS3 (key stage 3) high school students, Marine Mayhem is a tried and tested and very popular project that I have taught and adapted over several years and that will save Art Teachers a huge amount of time!

Some teachers hate planning and some simply have no time for it. Others struggle to come up with ideas for projects or are unfamiliar with how to use certain materials or techniques.

I LOVE inventing projects and experimenting with materials! I LOVE making visual aids and exemplars and spend hours conjuring up ideas and links to artists, techniques and ensuring that the schemes of work match the requirements of the schools and future exam boards - I mirror the GCSE requirements for ART and Design to ease the students into the pattern of an exam based project. Each lesson builds on the theme and the skills learned and leads towards a final piece and supporting design ideas. I even made a certificate to fill in on completion!

I am a professional, qualified Specialist Art Teacher in the UK (currently Head of Art), running a department that was recently deemed Outstanding by OFSTED. I have been told that my schemes of work and lessons are excellent! I plan to offer a full year of lessons for GCSE and A Level Art and Design students, plus a lot more KS3 lessons and full term courses, plus lessons for those on the SEN or sensory programme.

I have written a detailed plan for each lesson, which, if printed out together form a full term scheme of work. But there is also a one page project run down, an extra lesson (one of the twelve lessons is a two part lesson) plus two themed extension tasks. In addition to lesson plans and extension tasks, Marine Mayhem also contains full colour, multiple page Powerpoint slides (converted to PDF's) that show step by step how to do the tasks. This is ONE lesson of a 12 lesson fish based project.
