Seller's description

Beech body, O1 steel iron 4.5mm, boxwood insert, skewed iron, width 1” 1/2, 16” long.
Possible to make 45 degrees, 50 degrees and 55 degrees. I could make one or two nickers.
I use two types of irons – parallel or tapered
Parallel – 4.5 mm (1/8 inches) thick,190mm (7 ½ inches) long O1 High Carbon Steel
Tapered – tapered from 4.5 mm (1/4 inches) to 3mm (1/8inches), 190mm (7 ½ inches) long O1 High Carbon Steel
I make all irons in my workshop, including tapered irons. To make them, I use a lateral grander to start a taper and flatten them on an engineering flat steel plate.
You can order them paying only ¼ of the total price and the rest when it’s done – send me an email and I will make a new item on my web store to add your planes to my working list.
