Do you offer custom products or only the products in your shop?

Yes! Please contact me about any special product requests you may have and we can put together a customized order based on what you need.

Why is the wood color different than the picture?

The color of your requested stain may vary from the image provided in the listing. This is all dependent upon how many coats were used, what kind of finish is applied, as well as the kind of wood used. With that said we strive to provide the same color variation chosen by the client.

Why do I have more screws left over after assembly of my order?

We provide a few extra screws with your shipment just incase one was lost during assembly.

What if I already signed for a damaged package?

Unfortunately, once a package is signed for, UPS considers it accepted in good condition. This means we cannot file a damage claim, and we cannot offer free replacements or repairs. Please carefully inspect your order before signing to ensure you are fully protected.

Is there an additional fee for custom orders?

Yes, all custom orders are subject to a $50 custom order fee. This fee covers the time and resources required to design and create your unique piece.

How do I place a custom order?

To place a custom order, please send us a message with the following details: * A description of your idea * Dimensions, if applicable * Any inspirational photos or sketches We will review your request and provide a quote and estimated timeline.

Can I request changes to an existing product?

Yes, modifications to existing products are considered custom orders and will also be subject to the $50 custom order fee.

What does “Unfinished” mean?

Unfinished products do not receive any stain or polyurethane finish. They are left in their natural wood state for customers who prefer a raw, natural look or plan to apply their own finish. All unfinished items are still carefully prepared before shipping. We sand off any fraying left from the CNC machine and smooth all edges of each part to ensure a clean, safe, and high-quality product. While unfinished items will not have a sealed surface, they are fully functional and ready to use as-is or to be finished at home.

I noticed small imperfections in the wood — is that normal?

Yes! Small natural characteristics such as minor knots, mineral streaks, and grain lines are common in real wood products. You may also see faint scratch-like marks on panels — these come from the plywood manufacturing process and are unavoidable but do not affect the strength, durability, or beauty of your piece once finished.

Returned, Refused, Undeliverable, or Incorrect-Address Packages

Customers are responsible for providing a correct and current shipping address. Orders returned due to an incorrect address, customer relocation, refusal of delivery, or failure to claim the package do not automatically qualify for cancellation or refund. Customers are responsible for additional shipping costs to resend the order, and original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If the product is damaged during return transit, any refund or resolution may be reduced for shipping, repairs, damage, or loss in value, where permitted by Etsy policies and applicable law. Returned packages will be held for 30 days, after which we may consider the matter closed if no response or reshipping arrangements have been received.

With spacious 15" deep steps and a comfortable 7-1/2" rise, these stairs provide plenty of room for pets who prefer a wider, more secure surface while climbing. 📏 DIMENSIONS

Each Step:

Overall Size:
40-1/2"L x 20-1/2"W x 23"H

🐶 DESIGNED WITH YOUR PET IN MIND

Extra-Deep Steps
The 15" deep steps provide substantially more room than traditional pet stairs, giving your dog a larger surface for comfortable, confident climbing.

Comfortable 7-1/2" Step Rise
The gradual step height makes these stairs a great option for dogs who may have difficulty jumping onto furniture or navigating steeper pet stairs.

Strong & Sturdy Construction
Each set is handcrafted from durable birch or maple plywood using pocket-hole joinery for a strong and dependable structure. Our steps are designed to support pets weighing up to 155 lbs.

Pet-Friendly Step Surfaces
Choose from our available step surface options to create the setup that works best for your pet and your home.

Great for Beds & Furniture
At approximately 23" tall, this model is ideal for helping pets reach many standard-height beds, couches, and other elevated areas without having to jump.

🛡️ OPTIONAL SIDE & BACK RAILS

For pets who need a little extra security while climbing, select Side & Back Rails from the listing variations when placing your order.

Our rails are designed specifically for these Extra Deep 23-Inch Pet Steps and can be especially helpful for senior pets, smaller dogs, or pets with mobility, vision, or balance concerns.

The rails:

• Rise approximately 8 inches above each step
• Provide additional guidance along the sides of the staircase
• Include a back rail for added security at the top
• Are constructed from durable birch or maple plywood
• Are designed and finished to coordinate with your pet steps

If your pet does not need rails, simply select the No Rails option when ordering.

🔨 HANDCRAFTED TO ORDER

Every set of pet steps is handcrafted by Aria Wood Designs LLC. Our products are made to order rather than mass-produced, allowing us to give each set individual attention throughout the building and finishing process.

These stairs are beautiful and very sturdy! My dog gets jumpy easily when things move and these don’t budge. Pretty easy to assemble once I borrow a drill from a friend. They took a while to get here but they are so well crafted I understand why. They were very responsive and apologetic about the delay. My dogs joints thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re especially happy to hear how sturdy and secure the stairs feel for your dog. We know how important that stability can be for pups who are hesitant around anything that moves or shifts. We truly appreciate your patience while we handcrafted your stairs, and it means a lot to know you feel they were worth the wait. Most importantly, we hope they make life a little easier on those joints for many years to come! Thank you for supporting our small family business and welcome to the Aria Wood Designs family! 🐾❤️

This product is safe and sturdy. After a VERY long time trying many different (useless) products, this company has such thoughtful design and has exceeded my expectations. One of my dogs, who suffered a stroke and struggles balancing, trusts these stairs and can finally come up to her favorite spot on the bed again. The wider stairs allow a little more room for stumbling and the depth of each stair is safe for decline. Both of my pets are 60+ lbs and I know these can handle a lot more, BUY THIS!!

Response from Aria Wood Designs

Thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience! ❤️ It means the world to us to hear that our thoughtful design made such a difference for your pups. Knowing that your dog regained the confidence to safely get back to their favorite spot after suffering a stroke is exactly why we build these stairs the way we do. We put a lot of care into designing wider, deeper steps that provide stability and confidence for pets of all sizes, so hearing that both of your 60+ lb dogs are using them comfortably is incredibly rewarding. Thank you for trusting us and for recommending our stairs to others. Welcome to the Aria Wood Designs family! 🐾
