This pattern was fun to make. Though, I do think it leans a bit more towards intermediate and not beginner. There were a few times I felt like I had to read between the lines to get the right result. For transparency- I did run into one big issue but it wasn’t the fault of the pattern. I used a #3 hook and worsted 4 yarn to make her and when I got to her hat, the difference in my yarn and the makers yarn was big enough I ended up with a hat that was way too big for her head. If you run into the same issues, this is what I did to fix it: Follow the pattern thro round 6 then: R7-9: hdc around [60] R10: (hdc dec, 3 hdc) x12 [48] R11: change color and hdc around [48]
