PATTERN ONLY for a crocheted patterned Easter egg.
Shape and stability is given by using an 8cm plastic or polystyrene egg insert (see photos).
Straightforward and quick to make using DK yarn and 3mm hook. The egg is worked in two identical halves and then sewn together covering the plastic/polystyrene egg insert.

Why not make Easter eggs as decorations or to hang on Easter trees for friends and family to celebrate Easter?


The pattern was originally developed for my local Townswomen's Guild (Sedgley E) Craft Group but proved so popular that it was made available to all Townswomen's Guild members. Not only is it available to buy in my Etsy shop but it is available to download free to TG members on the TG website www.the-tg.com
