The commemorative coin of the National Bank of Ukraine "VASYL SLIPAK" with a face value of 2 hryvnias (in a capsule), is a part of the series "Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine" and is dedicated to the Hero of Ukraine, holder of the Order of the Golden Star and the Order of Courage, first class, Knight of Freedom, volunteer, participant in the military operations in eastern Ukraine in 2015-2016, volunteer soldier with the codename "MIF" - Vasyl Slipak.
Description of the coin:
On the obverse of the coin are: above - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which is the inscription "УКРАЇНА"(semicircle) in the center on a mirror background - a portrait of Vasyl Slipak, next to which is a musical line, the face value of the coin - 2, the graphic symbol of the hryvnia, the year of minting of the coin 2021 and the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, below left in a semicircle the inscriptions: "ВАСИЛЬ СЛІПАК "МІФ"
The reverse of the coin features a nightingale on the barrel of a rifle and stylized tree branches (above and below) against a mirror background.
