Novelties in my store with small series of antique fabrics, made of natural material (linen, hemp, cotton...), of different textures, hand dyed with plants, suitable for free hand embroidery, slow stitching and all your creative textile projects!

🌿 The size is 20 cm x 20 cm / 8" x 8" (it is a minimum, the cuts are often larger with sometimes selvedges, hems or borders in addition).
Each cloth is made of natural material. They are old fabrics, sometimes more than 100 years old and woven by hand. It is not always easy to know the exact composition of these handcrafted rustic materials, please read the descriptions below, as a guideline.

🌿 You can choose:
-01Alfalfa: vintage linen fabric,regular weave, supple and fine. About 27 threads/cm, 61ct/inch. Hand dyed in pale grey green with alfalfa.
-02Tiedye Mauve: ancient fine linen with regular weave. About 23 threads/cm, 55ct/inch. Hand dyed in mauve / pale violet tones with variation tiedye - logwood.
-03Allium: Fin and supple antique linen fabric with an irregular weave. About 28 threads/cm, 64ct/inch. Hand dyed with onion skin in earthy orange yellow with variations, some variations.
-04Avocado: antique textured linen fabric. Irregular weave. About 15 threads/cm, 36ct/inch. Hand dyed with avocado in pale pink beige.
-05Chanvre: 100% hemp thick fabric, about 300gr/m2, 12 threads/cm, 28ct/inch - natural tone
-06Rubia: vintage linen fabric. About 19 threads/cm, 45ct/inch. Hand dyed with madder in irregular red clay tones.
-07Pastel: antique fabric, irregular supple weave. Probably hemp or home grown flax. About 11 threads/com, 27ct/inch.
-08Garance: vintage linen fabric,regular weave, supple and fine. About 25 threads/cm, 57ct/inch. Hand dyed in pale dusty rose beige with madder.
- 09Flax: souple linen fabric, tight texture. About 18 fils/cm, 44ct/inch. Natural linen tone.
- 10Camomille: antique linen fabric with irregular weave, possibly hand loomed. About 16 threads/cm, 40ct/inch. Hand dyed with chamomile in shades of pale yellow with green hue with soft variations.
-11Amarante: ancien fabric, probably hemp or rustic linen. About 11threads/cm, 27ct/inch. Hand dyed with amaranth in terracotta pink.
-12Vieux Rose: vintage linen fabric, supple, fine weave of about 23 threads/cm - 55ct/inch. Hand dyed with avocado in pale dusty pink tones with variations.
-13Rustic hemp: antique hemp fabric. Probably homegrown and home spun. Different thread size and natural color. About 10 threads/cm - 25ct/inch.
-14Damassé: Antique fabric from the 19th century, very supple and soft. Composition unknown, possibly with some silk... Damask with delicate oriental bird and flower patterns. About 24thread/cm - 55ct/inch. Hand dyed with avocado for pale pink tone.
- 15Nature: natural vintage fabric in white, off-white, neutral tones. Many different types of textures. Please let me know if you have preferences.
- 16Asparagus: lightweight supple linen fabric. About 20threads/cm, 47ct/inch. Hand dyed with asparagus in pale yellow with green hue.

You can also buy a bundle of 4 or 8, please leave in the "personalization box" the description of what you would like from what is available (alfalfa, café,...). 🌿 Those fabrics are hand dyed by myself in my small workshop in the South of France, with natural colors from plants, over several days; there may be some mottling or parts with a slightly different tone. They are muted, organic, soft colors with a patina that will blend easily with embroidery or any other creation.
Care: please wash in cold water with a neutral Ph product
