This listing is for a fantastic vintage 40s white alumesh purse with a ivory Bakelite/celluloid chain link handle by Whiting & Davis. This purse is so so cool and is becoming harder to find! The purse is fully lined, has a very unique white metal mesh exterior and features a great chunky ivory colored Bakelite/celluloid closure and chain link handle. Such a truly great and versatile statement purse!

This vintage purse is in excellent vintage condition, showing some light signs of general wear. Overall, it’s in great shape considering its age and the interior and exterior are both very clean. There is some light discoloration/paint chipping on the metal mesh exterior in a couple areas and a few small scuffs on the Bakelite/Celluloid portions, but really nothing that takes away from the charm of the piece.
