Email your manuscript to annejhillediting.com. I accept Google Docs or Word. Make sure you have Editor turned on (for Google Docs). All files will be returned as a Google Doc. I will skim it and confirm that I can do it. If I can't for any reason, you will be refunded.

Your manuscript must be under 1,000 words.

What all this includes:

A full edit. That means developmental, line, and copy editing all at once. I will leave feedback on big-picture things, like the overall plot, characters, themes, etc. I will leave feedback on line level, like sentence structure, making your author voice shine, making sure you’re saying what you mean to say, etc. I will also edit grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc. I will leave my initial edits in one pass-through, and if you like, I can look over it one more time after you’ve implemented the edits for any questions you might have.

I do not accept pieces with sexual content. Swearing and violence are acceptable. I hold the right to refuse service for any reason, and you will be refunded.

After I agree to edit, there will be no refunds.

Please specify when you need it returned by. This will also affect whether or not I'll be able to take the job. If I can't, I will check with one of our other editors and pass it on to one of them if anyone is available: unless you tell me up front that you don't want someone else doing the edit.
