Picture is nice. The clear is a flexible plastic which was some how broken. The picture was not completely placed into the frame. It was packed well, the frame undamaged but the flexible plastic was broken. It looks like it was not damaged in shipping or there would be damage to the frame. The plastic is flexible and should not sustain any damage without significant damage to packaging and the frame. It appears to be damaged during assembly. I suggest just getting the picture and frame it yourself.

Hi Mike, I'm really sorry your picture arrived damaged, I assure you it did not leave the studio in that condition, so damage in transit is the most likely explanation. Please message me to arrange a replacement.
