Vintage: 1962 - 1970
Details: Lovely green and white ironstone gravy boat by J&G Meakin. It is in their "Lucerne" pattern which consists of white ironstone with a simple band of green tulips , leaves and swirls. It is stamped on the bottom: "J&G Meakin, England, Classic White, Lucerne". Based on this stamp we were able to date this piece to 1962, however, some literature states the Classic White collection started in 1963, so do little more research if the exact date is important to you. Wonderful piece to add to your Spring and Summer table and buffet settings.
