This Kids Learn to Sew Kit is perfect for little hands that are ready to start exploring the art of sewing, cross stitch, or just want to do a fun craft! The plastic canvases provide a fun and creative way to get used to using a needle (without the risk of poking themselves) and also helps with eye/hand coordination. This is a perfect hands-on activity for Montessori style learning, homeschool, preschool, or just for fun!

Each kit includes:
5 Plastic canvas shapes (square, heart, star, flower, and butterfly, all measuring ~3 inches)
10 Different colors of acrylic yarn on bobbins (each measuring ~12 feet)
1 Blunted tip, metal sewing needle

Yarn will come in the colors pictured. Please feel free to send a message including the child's favorite colors and I will do my best to accommodate, if inventory allows!

I do not include an instruction sheet with this kit. This is a free play activity where they can have fun and sew it how they like!

**Please note that although the needle is more blunt than it is sharp, it should only be used under direct adult supervision**

This is a perfect way to involve young kids in sewing hobbies! It holds my 5 year old’s attention and the needle/yarn is just the right size for her little hands and coordination skill. She loves the colors of the yarn and is having such fun “stitching” like momma. I can’t recommend this enough if you have a kids wanting to sew with you and needing to learn the basics!
