Our ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe. We have lab certifications available that indicate all our ceramics can be safely used with any kind of food or beverage. All our products are made by quality stoneware clay and are fired under high temperatures to ensure durability. So they are perfect fine for everyday use, but some caution is of course required due to their ceramic nature.

Due to the handmade nature of our ceramics, slight variations from the images shown should be expected. In glazing the green color may have hues of earthy and blue tones and in the beige color tones of light pink may appear. We believe these variations are what make our items unique and personal, and ultimately are the distinguishing factor between handmade and industrial made products. If you are looking for a specific look and finish please let us know.

Since we need to ensure that the ceramics you order arrive safely, lots of bubble wrap and packaging material must surround it. For this reason it is difficult to gift wrap our products. However, we are more than happy to add a written message from you attached to the present you bought. You can include this message on the note to seller section of your order.

This is a beautiful handcrafted oil lamp from the island of Crete, Greece. I never expected to find something so beautiful for such a reasonable price. In its simplicity is its greatest beauty. Do people know that the oil lamp is one of the oldest inventions of mankind, evidence dating between 15,000 to 12,000 years before Christ. It was securely packed and shipped to me in a very reasonable amount of time Thanks to ETSY for this beautiful lamp.

Jugs without handles are notoriously difficult to find, often they are clumsy or bulbous. This one is a veritable find with its organic shape which cups so well in the hands. I know we will use this often. Beware: you too will fall in love with these ceramics so much that you will order more and more because they will enjoyed for a lifetime. Although these photos are very good, you really don't get a true sense of just how delightful the glaze is in real life. Wow was involuntarily uttered as the parcel was opened. What more do you need to know?

When you open the parcel containing this jug, which you no doubt will, you too will gasp at its beautifully understated elegance. Of course it is pared down simplicity with ancient roots and modern hands. To say it breathes life and radiance from within may sound over the top, but remarkably it really does. Sinuous, confident, and profoundly practical barely do it justice. If ever archaeologists in a couple of millennia come across my ceramics cupboard I sincerely hope they choose to treasure this in particular as much as we will.
