In the Summer of 2004, as I was walking along the beach in the Hampton Bays of NY, I found a small stone in the snd. Often taking it out of my bag, I would rub my thumb, naturally in the indentation, and say a quick prayer. In the middle of a work day, on a bus, train, or just walking in the streets of NYC, my one minute prayers were said. Weeks later, while reaffirming my unconditional faith in God, as "Blind Faith," I knew my prayers would be heard no matter what. Then I thought why not write in the "Code of Braille"the initials HP on the stone, as the abbreviation for the Higher Power. This would remind me that God is with me, in my heart, hearing my prayers, and helping to heal me.
