Highlights
This is a handmade fabric, jelly roll rug. I used a top quality, 100% cotton, quilting fabric jelly roll to make this rug. Inside is the same quality cotton batting strips, and 100% cotton 50 weight, white thread. The jelly roll fabric is a beautiful collection called Farmhouse Delight from Connecting Threads. There are light and dark blue, teal, red, peach, green and white floral fabrics, it would look great in any room. The rug is reversible, it looks the same on both sides.
It measures 42 inches long by 28 inches wide. With the cotton batting inside, this rug is very comfortable to stand on. I would recommend putting a no slip rubberized piece of shelf liner under the rug, as it might tend to move when stepped on.
I have treated the rug with Scotchguard protective spray. When it is time to wash the rug, use a gentle, cold water cycle, and air dry. Ironing it should make it lay flat again, if needed.
This would make a lovely, one of a kind gift for yourself or any other special person. It would brighten up any room in the house, and should blend nicely with almost any decor. I have given a few away as gifts and the friends were very excited to get them.
