I have put all of the measurements for each decal in as close to possible. All measurements shown are height (H) in inches x width (W) in inches. Dimensions shown are the OVERALL DIMENSIONS of the decal and include all design elements (e.g. text, swirls, floral elements, etc.).

When should I use Temporary Vinyl on my project?

INDOOR VINYL – Oracal 631 – Temporary Vinyl -- Ideal for short to medium term indoor applications, specifically on painted drywall surfaces -- Temporary, low tack, and removable. Once removed, decal cannot be reapplied. -- May not adhere well to Low or No VOC paints, newly painted walls (less than 6 weeks), or scuff resistant paint. See CHOOSING A SURFACE for more information. -- Finish is matte -- DO NOT use in extreme weather, heavy-use, heavy abuse, or high-moisture conditions. -- Thickness: 3 mil -- Durability: 3 years -- Temperature resistance is -40 degrees F to +176 degrees F -- Minimum application temperature is 50 degrees F

When should I use Permanent Vinyl on my project?

OUTDOOR VINYL – Oracal 651 – Permanent Vinyl - Ideal for med term indoor & outdoor applications - Can be placed on almost any smooth, hard, dry surface. Ideal surfaces include plastic, metal, glass, ceramic, painted wood -Permanent, high tack, removable but can damage painted or other delicate surfaces. Decal cannot be reapplied once removed. - Finish is glossy except Black and White is available in both matte and glossy. - Can handle moisture, heavy use, heavy abuse, and extreme weather conditions. Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions will accelerate wear and tear on decal and fade the color. Do not immerse in water for long periods of time. -Thickness: 2.5 mil -Durability: up to 6 yrs (Metallic-4 yrs, Brilliant Blue - 3 yrs

If I apply my decal to a water bottle, glass, plate etc? Is it dishwasher safe?

No, the decal will come off in the dishwasher. Your item must be hand washed.

Can I wait to apply my decal once I receive it?

Your decal will not last for long periods of time after it is made. DO NOT wait to apply your decal. Be sure to apply the decal to your chosen surface as soon as possible. The adhesive on the transfer tape and the decal changes as time goes by and can make your decal difficult or impossible to apply. The decals are made to order to help prevent degradation of the transfer tape and decal adhesive for this very reason.
