70s ditzy floral collared shirt / Made in Melbourne

Its 1977 and Nancy is getting ready for her shift at the local theatre. You see, Nancy is a film projectionist and although this seems like a job that requires very little effort aesthetically, she loves to take inspiration from the film she's screening that day. On the bill today is the Shelley Duvall, Sissy Spacek classic 3 Women. The costumes in the film are drenched in candy colour pastels and soft romantic silhouettes. With that in mind Nancy reaches a pair of butterscotch wide leg trousers reminiscent of the pair Duvall wore in the mural scene. She then thoughtfully flips through her tops and lands on perfection, ditsy floral in print with delicate pearl buttons and an exaggerated collar, this blouse was the embodiment of what the titular 3 women's style represent. She finishes the look with her trusty tobacco hued penny loafers. Pleased with the result, Nancy heads out the door with the knowledge that nobody would see nor care for her efforts. That made it all the more special.

Size and Fit - Tag says size 10AU however fits is more like a size 8AU

Condition - Excellent secondhand condition, slight pilling

Joey Styling Tips- We’ve taken this 70s beauty and spiced up her life with sporty accents by adding some denim Bermudas, high tops & adidas crew socks. We then seasoned the final look with a bralette (also available for purchase) and added a baby pink cap for a little garnish. It may have been dinner time when writing this.

We have carefully measured each garment so please abide by these measurements when referring to size as vintage size tags will not always equate to standard sizing today.
