Sewing Pattern: Felt Christmas Advent Calendar

This advent calendar pattern is just what you need to get in the holiday spirit! There are 30 ornament patterns included, so you can choose just your favorite 24 for the calendar, or make them all and give the extras away as gifts! Celebrate with your loved ones for years to come with a handmade countdown, as you look forward to the special day. The finished felt hanging will measure 20" by 48". Finished ornaments will measure approximately between 2 and 4 inches tall.

The digital step-by-step instructions are easy to understand and the pattern is simple enough for all skill levels! The tutorial is intended for hand-stitching, so there is no sewing machine required (but you can certainly use one if you prefer.)

Basic supplies needed are felt, scissors, embroidery thread, and an embroidery needle. A complete, detailed list of sizes and colors is outlined in the PDF.

This is a digital PDF pattern. It is a tutorial, not a finished product. Nothing will be physically mailed to you. You will receive step-by-step instructions to download, which includes a full-scale pattern to be printed out and used to cut the felt pieces. You'll receive an email from Etsy with a link to download your pattern to your computer. When you click on the link, a PDF file will open. Print the whole tutorial, or just the pattern page, and follow the instructions.

There are two PDF files to download - one for the advent calendar and one for the 30 ornaments. Both will be included in your order history and email confirmation.

There is a zipped folder of SVG files also available to download. These are for use with a cutting machine, such as a Cricut. If you do not intend to use one, these are not necessary to download - the PDF files will have everything you need.

This pattern is for personal use. Reselling or distribution of the pattern is not permitted. Selling finished ornaments at craft fairs or on a small scale in your own Etsy shop is permitted, provided that you give design credit to The Felt Habit.
