Felt Cat Caves should weigh around 1kg of wool to maintain good round structure. Cheaper and lower quality ones will weigh lower so make sure best value doesn't mean compromise in value!
Tucked between the largest mountain ranges in the world, deeply rooted in local traditions, Everest Pet Caves are handmade in Kathmandu, Nepal.
At Everest, we are committed to quality at every stage as well as being as environmentally friendly as possible so you can be rest assured of the quality of wool we use (sturdiness of the cave) as well as the use of chemical-free dyes.
Since the making of the caves are a laborious task (only 3-4 cat caves can be made a day by a single person), we make sure the women artisans (members of our shop) are getting their fair share. We are looking to build a community-based brand here at Everest.

Washing: Wash with cold water and dry in open air (do not tumble dry)

Since our products are handmade, there might be slight variations in design/colour. We call these little imperfections: "creative touches".

My three-legged cat went straight into the cat cave as soon as it was unpacked! It's become one of his favourite places. I like that it is natural eco-friendly wool so doesn't shed microplastics and will biodegrade at the end of its life. Also holds its shape, lovely colours and looks great.
