Rhonda Shelford Jansen is 1/4 Unangax and Sugpiaq and was raised in Alaska. she is a shareholder of the Aleut Corp and CIRI and a member of Ninilchik Tribe. She comes from a long line of Alaskan fishermen and her family is still in the industry today. Her painting focuses on fishing, nautical, and Alaska Native scenes while her photography covers many different subject matters.
