We include detailed care instructions with every garment and yarn order. These are provided on a handy business card sized guide for your convenience. We include information on how to correctly care and hand wash knitted garments to ensure they maintain their shape and size. We cannot take responsibility for garments which are incorrectly washed or cared for. Our garments are able to be worn and loved for many years provided they are cared for according to the instructions provided.

Custom and personalised orders

Some items are able to be customised, but not all items are eligible for customisation. Please message us for eligibility of the item. Custom order requests are accepted on a case-by-case basis. As custom orders take additional time to produce, your deadline requirements will be a factor in the eligibility of your request. We reserve the right to decline custom order requests for reasons including but not limited to: -time constraints -existing bookings and workload -costs involved with the custom work -feasibility of the request -items not eligible for customisation We will do our best to accommodate custom requests. Please reach out and we will let you know if we can accomodate your request.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift wrapping is available on all orders, select this option at the check out. A card is provided as part of the service with your note inside. "From (your name)" will be the default message if no other message is provided. We use FSC certified papers and paper twine. Papers include images of beautiful native Australian floral and animal motifs, and native Australian bird designs. Please contact us if you prefer seasonal options such as Christmas themed wrapping, as we will do our best to accommodate your needs in these cases. The adhesives and tapes we use are made from paper or biodegradable polymers. The plastic tapes will bio-degrade into biomass in landfills, with zero microplastics produced in the process.

We offer free shipping on domestic orders over $100 AUD. Free shipping on international orders is available on all orders over $200 AUD. Express shipping upgrades are available in the checkout. All orders are dispatched with tracking information. This provides peace of mind to both parties for all orders. All packages are shipped in recycled or recyclable materials, and our tapes are recyclable or biodegradable. We re-use and recycle our parcel packaging as much as possible to help our planet in our way 💚

Shipping offer terms and conditions

All shipping includes tracking. All shipping is domestic or international standard shipping, and the carrier is Australia Post/ the local postal service in your country. Express shipping is available and is exempt from the free shipping offer. Any alternative shipping arrangements are by special request only, and the buyer is responsible for the shipping costs in these cases. No free shipping offer applies to carrier services outside of the standard shipping service. Signature on delivery is available by special request only. Please specify by messages if you require this, as this will attract an additional fee. Free shipping offer applies to all orders over $40 (domestic) and over $100 (international) in a single order.

Undelivered items/ items returned to sender

Items which are returned to sender will have two options: -Refund for the goods, less the value of any shipping costs paid. For items where a free shipping offer has been applied, the shipping cost will be deducted from the final refund value. All shipping costs are non refundable. -Resend the items at the buyer's expense. Please contact us to arrange your preferred solution. Undelivered items which have been lost by the postal service will be reimbursed after the postal service investigation has deemed the parcel as lost in transit. We cannot control timeframes for the postal service investigations, but we will communicate any updates through the process, and work with you to ensure that all obligations for delivery are met.

Hand dyed upcycled 7 ply vintage yarn, Australian made Villawood brand yarn, hand dyed cotton acrylic yarn!

56% cotton and 44% acrylic yarn, this yarn is dyed in skeins in small batches with vegan friendly fibre reactive dyes.
Because this is fibre reactive dye, the dye bonds to the fibres and is very stable.

The skeins are a pastel pink with soft greens on a white base.

The base yarn is made in Australia, and the yarn base is made by now defunct Villawool mills. The mill used to exist in Villawood, Sydney, Australia, so this is a 100% Australian produced item. The skeins are hand dyed by me in Canberra Australia.

The mix of colours in this skein creates a really beautiful colour pooling effect when knitted or crocheted.

Because this yarn is hand dyed, there is a very small chance of colour bleeding. All care has been taken to remove excess dye, and all my yarns are pre-washed and rinsed.
It is unlikely it will bleed, but still possible.
If this is a concern, it is recommended that you add vinegar to the water when washing to prevent colour transferring.

Free shipping is available on all Australian orders over $100AUD, and all international orders over $200AUD.

I only use recycled and biodegradable material in my packaging. For clothing, I do re-use plastic bags to keep them from getting wet in transit. Reusing old bags reduces the need to make new ones.
Wherever possible I do avoid plastic packaging.
