If you wish to try your hand at dyeing the tulle, I have instructions from a customer in Sweden who successfully tea-dyed hers (a collaboration of what I had learned from being overzealous in my attempts, and her more cautious approach).... the last photo is of the tulle used on her gown.

She had this to say of the tulle once it was dyed:

" Lovely tulle, a gorgeous drape and it has the exact same hand as the old silk tulle on museum dresses from the previous turn of the century. No synthetics could ever compare with silk.  "
