We only use natural materials, gemstones, semi precious minerals & shells! Metal elements are from inoxidable brass (can be cleaned repeatedly). Chains are stainless steel 24K Gold plated. Complementary beads are made from natural Hematite & mineral Graphite. Hematite (Fe2O3) is an iron oxide mineral with a superior metallic lustre that is also called ‘Black Diamond’. It is used in Jewelry since 3000 bc as a protective stone as it utilizes its superior magnetic qualities to bring vitality, stimulate endurance and balance the individual’s yin & yang. Ancient Greek soldiers carried hematite chips on their uniformed as they beleived it would make them unbeatable in battles! Graphite is an iron mineral coming from the mines of Greece!

Also known as 'Pacific Cats Eye' the Shiva Eye Shell comes from a specific type of Snail found off the coast of the Dodecanese island group in Greece. Thse particular shells are collected by sponge diving fishermen in the island of Kalymnos. Named after the Hindu God, Shiva, the shell represents the Third Eye of the god. Greeks also call it 'eye of the sea' or 'eye of Mary Madonna'.

Folklore suggests that these shells are 'Mermaids’ Money' and bring good luck to travelers, islanders & fishermen. It is widely used as a talisman of protection against 'evil eye'. It is said to relieve fears & insecurities, protect wealth & boost creativity.
