This is a custom watercolor silhouette painting done in florals available sizes 5in x 7in & 8in x 10in. Perfect for a special gift or for yourself to treasure someone. Each painting is a custom painting of a special person. Each is painted on fine art watercolor paper with high quality watercolor paint. Each piece is protected and shipped ready to give as a gift or for yourself.



How to order:

- Purchase the size painting you would like and chose which floral to use. Each floral design will be replicated but may have a few variationsto size or color slightlydifferent as each piece is hand painted and an original watercolor painting.

- Send me 2-3 photos of side view of the person you would like a silhouette of. Send photos through messages on Etsy or email me at katenelsonartist [!at] gmail.com with subject "Custom Silhouette" and your name/order number please.



Tips for Photographing your subject:

-Capture the photo at eye level so that facial features are true-to-life.

-Your subject should be facing forward/straight on (rather than downwards or at an angle) but take photo of side view.

-The photo should show one side of the face only (one eye and cheek).

-The best cameo silhouettes have a relaxed, semi-closed mouth versus a smile.

-Hair should reflect how you'd like the silhouette to appear in your painting. so if you like hairs flowing or a hair accessory let the person have that in the photo.

*I'm happy to add or remove accessories such as bows, or "clean up" stray hairs (although a few strays do add character!) Please give request at time of order.
