The Warbird is a military aviation inspired timepiece. It features a high readability matte black dial with white printed numerals in BGW9 Superluminova. The dial is inspired by cockpit instruments from vintage and modern fighter planes and takes design cues from the infamous reference A-11 timepiece (or reference 6B/234 for the RAF). Often referred to as ‘the watch that won the War’.

The hour and minute hands are a modern interpretation of aviation hands found on watches throughout history. The ‘Pilot’ style pay homage to the classic IWC MK11 hands with the squared off hour hand and sword minute hand - available in a narrow or broad style. These are filled with BGW9 Superluminova. The ‘Cockpit’ hands pay homage to the style of hand found on many military cockpit dials. These are filled with C1 Superluminova.

The anti-reflective sapphire crystal has a clear anti-reflective coating (on the underside only) and so provides great performance in every light condition.

The 39mm case is a solid titanium case, with a fixed bezel. It has a sandblasted finish to complete the military look and feel of the watch. The case also features a sterile brushed stainless steel screwed-down case back and a sandblasted titanium screwed-down crown to improve the water resistance to 200M.

Timing is done by the Seiko NH3X series automatic movements (such as the NH35, NH36 or NH38) which run at 21600bph and have 41h power reserve. Like all good military field watches this movement features a hacking seconds hand, meaning the second hand stops when the crown is pulled out into setting position. This makes regulation and synchronisation much more accurate.

It is supplied with a Nato strap with stainless steel sandblasted buckles in the following colours:

- black
- brown
- vintage style one piece SUEDE leather Nato with a sandblasted buckle.

Every watch also comes with an green FKM and sailcloth hybrid two-piece strap with a brushed stainless steel buckle.
