TITLE: Double Dark Theory
Original mixed media artwork on canvas
60 × 80 cm | 2019

Materials: newspaper collage, acrylic, marker, epoxy resin, canvas

This artwork explores the invisible connections between people, memory, media, and the universe itself.

Created with real newspaper fragments collected during travels across different countries, the painting carries layers of human voices, information, and collective experience. These fragments become part of a cosmic structure — like dark matter holding invisible worlds together.

At the center stands the human figure: fragile and powerful at once, woven into history, society, space, and time.

The glossy resin surface adds depth and luminosity, creating an almost galactic atmosphere where textures, symbols, and flowing forms appear suspended beneath the surface.

This piece balances contemporary figurative art with philosophical reflection, making it both visually striking and deeply symbolic.

Perfect for collectors of:
• mixed media art
• cosmic and philosophical artwork
• contemporary figurative painting
• resin artwork
• conceptual modern art

This artwork is original and hand-painted by Ukrainian artist Tetiana Cherevan.
