A NOTE ABOUT WRINKLES + LIGHT

In some of our photos (particularly flat lay images), you’ll notice that some of our backdrops and items aren’t totally smooth. As a POD shop owner myself, this is a stylistic choice to make our mockups feel laid back and authentic. Additionally, as a photographer, I LOVE light and texture. Because of this, many of our images have unique light patterns and shadows. Our images are photographed in a ton of unique light situations from flat studio light to flash photographs taken outside at night. This is so freaking fun to shoot but also is a great way to showcase items in totally different light situations. Light has a huge impact on color and it’s so fun to create our mockups this way! We hope you adore them!

A NOTE ABOUT COLOR (MY FAVE!)

I LOVE color. Like, it’s my favorite thing and I can talk about it for days! Please keep in mind that color can be impacted by many different things. Light heavily influences color in photographs. Additionally, other items in the frame all impact color as well. I love this about photography! It makes photos feel so authentic and fun, too! All of our mockups are original, individually edited photographs of each item + item color in each listing. Because of this, you will see item color variance in our shop as we shoot in many types of lighting situations with all kinds of settings + backdrops. This is most apparent when comparing our indoor, outdoor, and flash photographs. Have any questions? Let us know!

All of our mockup photographs are original, individually edited photographs of real items, sizes, colors, and people. All photographs are individually edited to best represent the item photographed within the setup it appears. Our mockups are photographed on location (at a lake, downtown, etc.) or photographed on studio backdrops in my home office. If a model appears in a photograph, a model release has been signed and the model has agreed for their image to be used in mockup photographs. Please Note: We do not allow our mockups to be used as a source or reference photo for AI created mockups.

Hey! My name's Lissa Chandler! I've been taking photos regularly since 2008 + have been a professional photographer since 2011 and I am SO excited for you to be here! Copyright of this photograph is held by Opal and June and will continue to be held by Opal and June after purchase. Due to this, redistribution of this original photograph is not allowed. However, if a mockup has been created, this mockup can be redistributed as long it is marketing the designer’s work.

Here’s two examples to break this down!

Example 1 (Not Allowed): A buyer downloads an original photograph and shares it with another person or company. This violates usage terms as no mockup has been created and the photograph is not marketing the buyer's work.

Example 2 (Allowed): A designer creates a mockup and shares it with a supplier. The supplier is given the mockup photograph with a design placed on the photograph, not the original photograph purchased by the buyer. This falls under commercial use and is allowed.
