'Shoreline' mug. Inspired by the the shores of streams, rivers, lakes and the sea. I grew up with a love for the shorelines we are lucky to have around the Peak District and throughout the British Isles.

Wheel-thrown ceramic mug made using an ivory stoneware clay.

The listing is for a single mug and the capacity to the rim of the mugs is approximately 300ml so they are perfect for a tea or coffee.

Glazed in a creamy speckle overlapped with 'Midnight Granite' a dark Prussian blue with a black speckle.

I make everything in my studio in the beautiful Peak District. My pieces are thrown on the wheel, trimmed and fired to bisque in the kiln to 1000 degrees. I then glaze the pieces before firing them again to 1250 degrees. The process can take up to 4 weeks and every item is small batch and unique.
