“One of the items did not have the starry night background across the entire face of the board, so it looks like it was a mistake. I was not expecting a partially covered board. The lettering was fine, just the blue/star background was missing on about 5% of the board.”

Seller's description

Specifications

May include: Eight blue and white cards with the text "Break a Leg" on a wooden surface.

Decor Blocks and signs add a fun touch to decorating a space. They bring personality to a table, desk or shelf and work well with any existing elements. These 'Break A Leg' Blocks are a perfect opening night gift for an actor, musician, stage manager, crew member or anyone associated with a production. They are small and fit well on a makeup table, call board, crew table, or even a water station.

All my signs are made from leftover material found at the theatrical scene shop where I work. Some pieces are discarded off cuts and others were abandoned after a production was finished. The lettering is cut out of a sticker vinyl and attached to the structure. Before adding the vinyl, each piece is cleaned and lightly sanded to dull any sharp edges or obvious splinters, but the integrity of the found object is kept as much as possible. Since these signs make a great gift, on the back there is a sticker explaining the material origins.

The blocks in this listing are a thin MDF with a paint treatment of blues, tiny speckles and some with random grey slashes. Each block has it's own unique paint appearance, but all the lettering is in a glossy white vinyl, as pictured.

Approx. size: 5”W x 2 3/4"H x 1/4"D
