DIY Drill Press Stand Plans, Fits 15" and smaller Drill Presses, Plans include Adaptable Drawer System

After looking at the two most popular drill press plans on the market I realized that the Youtubers plans would cost me over $500 to build, and the other plans were just a cabinet ripped from the sketchup library with no effort put in to making the cabinet actually work for the drill press. Disgusted by what the market had to offer I decided to make my own out of only a sheet of plywood, a sheet of MDF, and one hickory board. The results are spectacular.

-A drawer system where you can change the position of any drawer at any time without realigning faces, or drawer slide. Want your forstner bits on the top drawer today, and your twist bits there tomorrow, no problem.

-Caster placement that actually stabilizes the drill stand instead of making it unbalanced and top heavy.

-A tray beneath the press for punch outs, or bit placement when you are inevitably too lazy to put your bit away immediately.
