Perfect as a single little ring or trinket dish, useful as a pair in the kitchen or somewhere to keep those tiny beachcombed finds, these little pottery bowls are all individually made and decorated by hand. No two are exactly the same and their slightly 'wonky' irregularities give them a soft rustic appeal whilst the simple decoration give a modern twist.

The dish measures approximately 6.5cm diameter and 2cm base to rim. It's made from lovely warm coloured terracotta clay which, once cut into shape, is carefully smoothed to soften and round the edges as if it had, perhaps, been worn down by the action of the sea. After being left to dry thoroughly, it is bisque fired and later glazed with a traditional majolica-style Tin white glaze and hand painted with blue Cobalt oxide. It then heads back to the kiln for a second firing.

Every Shoreline Ceramics item is made to be unique and is carefully hand crafted and painted. Glaze density, depth of colour and design will vary from piece to piece. Personally, I love the fact that each piece is so individual, but please do just bear ths in mind when making your purchase.
