This wooden handle is made out of Curly Acacia. (This specific wood comes from Southeast Asia)

Curly Acacia has great natural hues because it has beautiful dark colored grains with crisscross shades that reflect light. (Curly stands for the crisscross shades in wood that reflect light, which is a phenomenon that occurs in a tree due to unknown environmental circumstances)
