Raw honey crystallizes naturally over time and is a sign of quality. If you wish to soften or re-liquify the honey you can place the jar in a bowl of warm water until reaching the desired consistency. Temperature up to 115f will not damage the honey, and it will re-crystalize over time. You can slow down the rate of crystallization by keeping the jar in a warm place or by refrigerating it. Refrigeration is not necessary, but honey that is still liquid will crystalize slower if kept in the refrigerator.

Varietal honey is separated by season and location. Different types of honey vary greatly in flavor, color, texture, and rate of crystalization. In general, lighter honey tends to have a milder flavor than darker honey. Varietal honey from different harvest years can vary slightly due to the natural environmental conditions that vary each year.

Highlights

Made by GilsHoneyBees
Materials: raw propolis, Propylene glycol, glass bottle

Propolis tincture, alcohol-free, in a 1oz bottle with a dropper.

Made from raw propolis collected from our own beehives, dissolved in propylene glycol (PG) for a few weeks. This makes a strong 20% propolis tincture without any alcohol.

Propolis is collected by honeybees from tree sap and is used in the beehive to seal small cracks and protect the bees.
Propolis is a complex natural resin containing hundreds of plant-derived compounds, including polyphenols.

Mix a few drops of propolis tincture in a drink or consume straight.

Keep the bottle in a dark, cool place.

Our beehives are located in natural areas of the beautiful NY Finger Lakes, far from big agriculture and industries, making the propolis clean and free of pesticides and harmful chemicals.
