This plate has a drawing of the well-known work of Van de Velde de Jonge in Delft Blue. Willem van de Velde (Leiden 1633 - London 1707) was considered one of the greatest marine painters of his time in England; his paintings of the English fleet hung on the walls of the royal court.
The plate has a decorative Delft Blue floral edge (stand is not included).
