I have been making bread for years and wanted something for SMALLER loaves--2 to 4 people, and I dont do bread machines. I had looked at a lot of this type of item online and picked this one for size and design, and because I like to support small independent business. The pot came quickly, well protected and padded, lovely colors and craftsmanship. The promised recipe was missing, but as soon as I emailed the shop owner, he emailed to it me. If there was only one thing I ask more, it would be MORE RECIPES. One included recipe was a beer bread and another a suggestion about using frozen bread dough. It took me a little trial and error to come up with the perfect ratio for a sourdough/yeast based SCRATCH bread recipes which can be varied according to taste/purpose. LOVE this piece and will use it often.
