HOW TO WIPE
Our furniture for toddlers are coated with linseed oil and water-based varnish and have a round railing without sharp ends. So it should be cleaned with a dry or wet cleaning rag.

COATING
Both varnish and oil have a protective function, protecting the surface from mechanical influences, abrasion, penetration of moisture and dust into the pores of wood, thermal influences, and pollution.
• Lacquer creates more shine than oil.
• Lacquered surface, smoother, sliding.
• Lacquer is not tactile while oil is more tactile.
• Oil preserves and conveys the natural texture of wood more strongly than lacquer.
• Lacquer is considered more durable
On the surface of the product, it creates a strong film, since its layer is somewhat thicker and denser than oil.
Scratches on a lacquered surface are more visible than on an oil-treated surface.

Even though our products are entirely made of wood which is naturally antibacterial, they still need proper care and cleaning. Here are some basic tips for proper care:
wipe the wooden surface using a wet rag soaked in lukewarm soapy water, however do not let the rag excessively soak!
leave it dry completely
polish with non-toxic furniture oil
use clean, green cleaning formulas without harsh chemicals!

After a few missteps with assembly (it did not come as preassembled as video instructions) it is together and looks great. It is good workmanship and will be the perfect step stool in my pantry.
