Highlights
This Uncle Sam sitter is approx. 13" tall, 8" wide and no two are alike.
His body and hat is sewn out of muslin which was painted navy blue and sanded. His nose and eyes are stitched out of black embroidery floss and his beard and hair are sheep's wool. I used a red star fabric for his suspender straps and red stained cheese cloth for his hat band.
On his shoulder is a painted gold star sewn out of muslin and lastly I brushed blush on for his cheeks.
This is a Chestnut Junction pattern and I hope you enjoyed viewing him. Photos were taken with and without a flash.
