Communcation Cards for Nonverbal, Speech Delay and Children with Autism
The creation of these cards and specific images inspired by my daughter, who recently started school and was unable to be understood by her peers and staff within the setting. She is on the spectrum and holds a speech delay. However, she becomes frustrated when her peers are unable to understand her. She also elopes when the Noice is too loud. When's she overwhelmed she will place herself in a quiet place. With that being said each card created is essential for her day-to-day functions.
