Beautiful and beautifully crafted from upholstery to frame! The orange fabric seat is an attractive soft terra cotta textured solid appropriate to mid-century modern style. On to the issue of comfort which tends to be under-emphasized in the reviews . . . Chair aesthetics and construction quality are clearly five stars. I took off a star due to comfort issues. 1) Inside seat width is 18" between the arms at the front -- a bit narrow. If I lean forward as I tend to do when on my keyboard or dining, the arms press against bones where the upper leg meets the hip joint. Add an inch, please! It's okay if I scoot back, but that creates an awkward seating position. 2 STARS 2) Seat is properly sloped and firm without being hard. 5 STARS 3) Seat back looks hard, but is rounded, and quite comfortable even if leaning back. 4 STARS
